When you head to the Growth Tools tab in your ManyChat account, you can see there's a section on the right side with statistics for all Growth Tools created on your page:
While things should be clear regarding 'Conversion' column, you might be wondering what exactly these other stats mean for each Growth Tool, since not all of them work in the same way; we'd like to provide the explanation in this article.
Overlay/Embeddable Widgets, Landing Page, Checkbox:
'Impressions' - that's how many users saw this particular widget at all;
'Opt-Ins' - that's how many users clicked the button "Send to Messenger" (as for the Checkbox, it's any button with the widget's code installed in it);
'Opened' - that's how many users saw the Opt-In Message (compared to the number in the Opt-Ins column) of your growth tool;
'Clicked' - that's how many users clicked any button in the Opt-In Message (compared to the number in the Opt-Ins column).
Messenger Ref URL:
'Impressions' - can't be tracked for this widget - you'll see '-' in this column, as well as in the 'Conversion' section;
'Opt-Ins' - that's how many users opted in after clicking the link;
'Opened' - that's how many users opened the Opt-In Message after clicking the link (new users also have to click 'Get Started' button first to receive the Opt-In Message);
'Clicked' - that's how many users clicked any button in the Opt-In Message of the widget.
Facebook Ads JSON:
For now, JSON stats can't be tracked by ManyChat, unfortunately. You can see a disclaimer about it under "?" sign in the 'Clicked' section of JSON statistics. It says: "Due to platform limitations we cannot definitely track Growth Tool impressions and opt-in message stats. The first time we can track a user is when he/she clicks a button in your Opt-In Message".
Facebook Comments:
'Impressions' - that's how many users left a comment in the comment section of the post on your Fan Page connected to the widget;
'Opt-Ins' - that's how many users replied to the Auto-response from the widget;
'Opened' - that's how many users saw the Opt-In Message (compared to the number in the Opt-Ins column) of your growth tool;
'Clicked' - that's how many users clicked any button in the Opt-In Message (compared to the number in the Opt-Ins column).
Facebook Messenger Code:
